Management Cycle: Plan-Do-Check-Act

Fertilizers Europe Product Stewardship Program is based on the application of the Plan, Do, Check, Act principles for the management of SHE-risks associated with the product.

It involves developing a comprehensive understanding of the risks throughout the lifecycle of the product and establishing a management system for the reduction and controlling of risks to people, property and the environment.

Senior management should take ownership of the activities required and be the "driver" of change.

Periodic reviews or audits of the implementation are required. Such activities should be initiated by and reported to the senior management. Clear feedback of such reviews to the organization is necessary and expected.
